Workouts are more accessible than ever with our new user interface for Abler Classes 2.0, which we deployed this past weekend. It’s specifically designed for Gyms and Crossfit stations where WODs can be created and published at desired times and are easy to navigate. Planning and holding recurring classes with unique workouts is now a breeze — simple for trainers, simple for admins, and most importantly, simple for users.

Members will also appreciate being able to reserve a space in a class or sign up for a waiting list with Abler Classes 2.0. Fitness classes are simple to browse and can be booked with the press of a button.

Classes 2.0 makes it easy to see dates, times, trainers, and how many people have already signed up relative to open slots.

Your available classes can be filtered by these same categories and viewed in either card or list form. Members can pin their booked sessions for easy recall and will receive a push notification when they’re automatically added to a class from the waiting list, should a slot open up.

This fresh new design will give your members a superior, intuitive user experience that will keep them coming back for more sessions. Get your classes into shape with the help of Abler Classes 2.0!

Accessing the gym or fitness centre has never been easier with Abler Gym’s new entrance page. Perfect for tablets, the entrance page is clear and intuitive with a simple input and PIN submission. Members who check in with the entrance page when going to a class will also automatically be marked as “attended” for the course they are registered for.

Admin logs can tell which members checked in and registers incorrect login attempts. The admin logs display entry attempts as one of three statuses: Authenticated — a member with an active subscription, Not Authenticated — wrong PIN or social security number, and Not Authorized — without an active subscription.

Admins using Abler Gyms now have access to a new member profile page featuring a better overview of their active subscriptions and purchased products.

Admins also have easy access to member invoices, family members who are also active in the system, classes or events, and groupings, offering a comprehensive view of your members with the click of a button. Everything appears in specific modular tabs that you can easily navigate without leaving the profile page.

Don’t forget about our new punch card option! Members can now purchase a set number of sessions they can use whenever they like. This option gives your customers more flexible opportunities for exercising and attending classes at their convenience. Members will love being able to choose when and where they work out.

Browsing and selecting products from the local sports clubs has never been easier with the recent deployment of Abler Shop 2.0. Sporting an all-new, clean user interface, Shop 2.0 offers an improved user experience with more subscription transparency, more filtering and payment options, and easier navigation of a member’s purchased products and invoices.

Redesigned pages for clubs and their products

Clubs can now post their products — everything from subscriptions to camps to equipment and more — with the fresh new look of Shop 2.0. Designed to make browsing as simple and engaging as possible, Shop 2.0’s new design features all relevant product information in an organised and appealing way.

Users also now have a more intuitive user view option that enables them to easily browse and select products for themselves and on behalf of combined family account members.

Landing pages for products available for purchase now sport a similar layout, offering all of the relevant information about the product in a clean, easy-to-understand design.

Once a user has selected the product they would like to purchase, they’re given the available payment options at checkout, including credit card transactions and bank invoicing.

Members who choose the bank invoice payment option will receive billing notices directly in their bank accounts and an email confirming their purchase, providing full billing transparency.

Instalment payments are laid out for the browsing user with due dates and amounts, making it clear what will be owed and when.

After purchasing a product, users will be shown their invoice with payment and subscription details, as well as a QR code that takes them directly to the Abler app for download. These elements combine to create a simple flow from browsing to engaging with your club’s products.

The member profile page is now split into Billing and Subscription tabs for easier navigation. The billing tab features all-new filtering options, making it simple for users to view all paid, unpaid, and split payments for products paid in instalments. These invoice statuses are applied according to users’ payment selection during checkout. Members who have chosen bank invoicing will see their invoices marked as “unpaid bill.”

The profile page’s subscription tab puts all of a member’s subscriptions in one place, providing a simple way for them to manage their purchases. The tab also indicates if there is a notice period following a subscription cancellation.

The improved design and UX of Shop 2.0 bring several benefits to sports clubs and other organisations. The recent launch of Abler Classes 2.0 is a perfect example of this drive to innovate. Our development team spent months breaking down and rebuilding the Abler Classes forum for posting courses and events online for members.

We examined and weighed everything, seeking the best way to display your products. The team wanted to improve upon what was already working and remove any excess weight from the user experience. From the layout and design to the nuts and bolts of development, every adjustment combined to create a superior tool appropriate for any club offering class signups.

The final and most crucial ingredient in all of this was you: the coach, admin, club leader, athlete, or parent. We hear from you every day; it’s one of the great pleasures of working in this industry, connecting with real people and learning how to improve our solutions, all to make Abler the answer to your organisational needs. Customisable content for recurring classes

We’ve been doing quite a bit with the Abler gym and fitness products lately, and there’s no question this has informed some of Classes 2.0’s key features. If you’re a fitness trainer, you understand the importance and complications of building a successful workout-of-the-day (WOD) program.

Sometimes you need the option of a recurring course with customisable daily content. Classes 2.0 makes this simple, keeping class descriptions as flexible and customisable as you need without disturbing routine class times and course schedules.

For members looking to book a class, we tried to place the most critical information up front — and not just time and place. Class size, open slots, waitlists and minimum registration requirements are now signalled on each class’s card. If you’re waitlisted, you’ll automatically be booked and receive an alert if and when a space opens up for you to join.

Users can also browse available classes the way they prefer, in either card form or list form. Once you’ve booked a class, it’s automatically pinned to the top of the list. You’ll always know what you’ve signed up for and when it’s happening.

Kidjaberg’s Golf Club in Grímsnes, Iceland (Golfklúbbur Kiðjabergs, or GKB) is one of our most recent club partnerships and a perfect example of how to approach the familiar issues these organizations face. GKB recently implemented Abler’s Club HQ system to simplify how they coordinate their memberships and keep track of payments, and we’re excited for our platform to deliver results that make a difference.

Located alongside the scenic Hvita River, GKB is a private, self-financed club dedicated to giving its approximately 430 members the best guest experience imaginable while making data-driven business decisions. The club has 18 holes, a lodge with a restaurant and features stunning views of the surrounding Icelandic countryside. The club frequently hosts tournaments and groups of all sizes, providing a unique place to play a round and relax.
