Requesting Data Deletion

At Abler, we value your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information with care and respect. Here's a quick overview of the kind of personal data we collect to provide you with our services:

• Basic information like your name, email, home address, and phone number.
• Your date of birth and gender.
• Your profile picture.
• Records of your memberships, subscriptions, and payments within our system.
• Messages you've sent to other users.
• Your attendance at events and use of gym facilities.

We understand that your privacy is important, and you have the right to control your personal data. That's why you can ask us to delete your information from our system at any time. We're here to help and will handle your request in full compliance with GDPR laws.

Just a couple of things to keep in mind:

• Financial records, like payment history and subscription details, need to be kept for 7 years due to legal requirements. We can't delete this data on demand, but it will be automatically removed after this period.
• If you have an active subscription, we need to retain certain data to fulfill your contract with the seller. To cancel a subscription, you can do so through our app or by contacting the seller directly.

To make a deletion request, email us at privacycompliance@abler.io with the following details:

• Your name and either your date of birth or Icelandic national ID number.
• The email address linked to your Abler account.
• Which data you wish to be deleted.
